How to add target _blank on a WordPress menu

WordPress is the most user-friendly content management system we have ever found. Some times we need to open the menu items of our WordPress website in the new tab of the browser. So we need to use the Target attribute in WordPress which is not enabled by default. We need to enable the target_blank tag in the WordPress menu by ourselves. Let’s learn how to do it.

Step 1: Go to Menu under Appearance section. In the top right corner of your Dashboard, click on the Screen Options.

Step 2: Under Show advanced menu properties,  check the Link Target option.

Step 3: In the Menu items, Open link in a new tab checkbox will appear. Check the box for the menu item which you want to open in the new tab.

This is super easy, right? Of course, it is.
